Cool Linux CD is a bootable CD that contains a
a live Linux distribution based on RedHat 7.3. It
also includes the XFS filesystem, devfs,
IceWM, QVWM, ROX-filer, OpenOffice.org,
Opera, Mozilla, Sylpheed, Pan, Licq, X-chat,
GFTP, ppp-redialer, xmms, xine, mplayer,
gqview, LinNeighborhood, IPTraffic, VMWare,
and more.
Changes: Many changes were made since version 1.35. Since
version 2.00beta1, the software set for video was
changed.

Changes: The boot procedure has been changed to be more compatible with some hardware. Some problems have been fixed, and a lot of software has been added.

pydance is a dancing game written in Python, formerly named pyDDR. The
idea is simple. There’s a floor mat with arrows, and the game scrolls
arrows up the screen to the beat while playing a song. When the arrows
reach the top of the screen (not sooner and not later), the player
hits the corresponding arrow on the pad, and given that it’s hit on
time with the beat, points are scored. Based on how well the dance is
put together, s/he is graded at the end of the song. Both keyboard and
mat play are supported.
Changes: In this version, the game, effects, and conversion utilities were updated to support hold (or "freeze") arrows. Background MPEG-1 video is now supported. The included ddrmat.o was fixed up some more to make it about 15-25% faster, and some other little bugs were squashed.
