pydance is a dancing game written in Python, formerly named pyDDR. The
idea is simple. There’s a floor mat with arrows, and the game scrolls
arrows up the screen to the beat while playing a song. When the arrows
reach the top of the screen (not sooner and not later), the player
hits the corresponding arrow on the pad, and given that it’s hit on
time with the beat, points are scored. Based on how well the dance is
put together, s/he is graded at the end of the song. Both keyboard and
mat play are supported.
Changes: Two player mode is now supported (please note that the keys have
changed). Menus, a better song selector, an "assist" mode (sounds
play when arrows should be hit), scoring, arrow scrollthrough, and
more new features are now implemented. Numerous bugs and annoyances
have been fixed, and a lot of speedups have been made. MacOS X is now
more carefully supported, and the game tries to be more platform
friendly. The adapter recommended by the development team is now
autodetected. Many of the non-game utilities have been updated.

ALT Linux is a set of Linux distributions that are
based on Sisyphus, an APT-enabled RPM package
repository that aims to achieve feature
completeness, usability, and security in a
sensible and manageable mixture.
Changes: This release contains a lot of new packages in addition to largely improved existing base; almost all of them are built with gcc3. The already good server and desktop is now a lot better with a larger degree of audited and secured services and smoother office and multimedia applications out-of-the-box.
