pydance is a dancing game written in Python, formerly named pyDDR. The
idea is simple. There’s a floor mat with arrows, and the game scrolls
arrows up the screen to the beat while playing a song. When the arrows
reach the top of the screen (not sooner and not later), the player
hits the corresponding arrow on the pad, and given that it’s hit on
time with the beat, points are scored. Based on how well the dance is
put together, s/he is graded at the end of the song. Both keyboard and
mat play are supported.
Changes: A new menu design was added. Themes are now automatically detected. A real README file is now included, documenting the configuration file. A "badknees" option was added to remove jumps in the song.

true ports system in the tradition of BSD ports,
but is Python-based and sports a number of
advanced features including dependencies,
fine-grained package management, "fake"
(OpenBSD-style) installs, path sandboxing, safe
unmerging, system profiles, virtual packages,
config file management, and more.
Changes: LiveCD hardware auto-detection was enhanced, and preliminary bootsplash support was added. The install documentation was improved. Lots of packages were upgraded.
