Linux 2.6.16
Linux is a clone of the Unix kernel, written from scratch by Linus Torvalds with assistance from a loosely-knit team of hackers across the Net. It aims towards POSIX and Single UNIX Specification compliance. It has all the features you would expect in a modern fully-fledged Unix kernel, including true multitasking, virtual memory, shared libraries, demand loading, shared copy-on-write executables, proper memory management, and TCP/IP networking.
Changes: This release features a new cluster filesystem (OCFS2), better
locking mechanisms for critical sections, complete support for the
cell processor, and power management improvements in several
drivers.

Stendhal 0.47
Stendhal is a multiplayer online adventure game (MMORPG) developed using the Arianne game development system. It features a rich and expanding world in which you can explore towns, buildings, plains, caves, and dungeons. You will meet NPCs and acquire tasks and quests for valuable experience and cold hard cash. Your character will develop and grow, and with each new level up become stronger and better. With the money you acquire, you can buy new items and improve your armour and weapons. You can also roam the world in search of evil monsters (and kill them).
Changes: This release fixes lots of bugs that were
reported, and adds some new interesting features
like doors and keys. Two new big game areas were
added: Wofol, the kobold’s city that is suitable
for team play of players around level 10-20; and
N’mon, the lich fortress under the Orril castle,
which is only for the bravest players. Another new
feature is a storage area to safely place items.

Changes: This release speeds path finding by a factor of 20, added cloaks,
armors, boots, and weapons, simplifies quests, adds Semos Mine and Orril
Castle, new zones, and a bank at Semos, and weakens the XP earning
limits. It fixes the sheep sprite, blacksmith, and Nalwor waterfall
animations, a bug in the Attack system that weakened an NPC, and a bug
related to the Seller NPC (you were able to buy N items and pay only for
one). Creatures are now correctly balanced, and dragons have been added
to Huge animals.

Changes: Fixes ambient sounds, sheep quest, and a sheep immortality bug. Fixes a messed up equipment bug. Adds an Event system to ease the development of the client. Adds sword beam to show attack, a Quest system, and a very basic scripts system. Adds ranged combat. This release has new monsters ( around 30 new monsters ) and new zones ( in this release 3 new zones, but really around 20 more ).
