Live chat with the Psi devs

As just announced in my blog (and mirrored on Planet Psi (http://planet.psi-im.org)) at http://www.kismith.co.uk/wordpress/index.php/2006/06/17/ps… this Wednesday, at 7PM, GMT/UTC, all the Psi devs shall be in the Psi MUC at psi@conference.jabber.ru, ready to answer questions about the state of Psi, the future of Psi, the path its going etc. Please get thinking of interesting questions, and come along

Hi everyone, long time no announcements. Well we have actually been pretty busy little bees on the Psi front, and I thought I’d pass along some news for those that are a watchin’.
- Planet Psi is getting some pretty regular updates from me and the devs. Definitely check it out if you have not already.
- The Psi team was incredibly fortunate to have been awarded four Google Summer of Code projects! We’re very excited about what the next six (or so) weeks will bring for us.
- On that note, Kev our fearless leader is working on a SoC project to bring Plugins to Psi. You can find the details and progress on the Psi Plugins wiki page at the Jabber.org wiki. Also, you’ll see regular updates on Kev’s blog (which is contained within the Planet Psi feed).
- Also on tap are Jingle File Transfer, Link Local Messaging (aka iChat), and Whiteboarding! Also, Machekku of our community was allowed to pursue his HTTP Authentication Suite project for this year’s SoC.
We haven’t formally changed the roadmap yet, but here are some other things that are likely to be coming very soon:
- MUC (finally!)
- A new options system
- Remote Control
- XMPP compliance
Lots of stuff going on! So much for a boring ‘QT4 conversion’ 0.11 release.
Beta 3 will be coming out in a little bit and you’ll be able to see some of these things in action.
xBaK 0.0.8

xBaK is a fan-made remake of the classic Sierra computer RPG "Betrayal at Krondor". It is a game engine that uses the data files that came with the original game by Sierra Online. You must already have your own copy, since the required data files are not distributed with xBaK. The game is still under development. The intro, the option dialogs, and the main game dialog are finished, but the game is not yet playable. Several tools for examining the contents of the data files are also available.
Changes: Visible changes include display of the character heads and a few more dialogs. More work has been done on the main game dialogs. Character button GUI widgets are available. There are several bugfixes.
